Title: The Turn Toward Light

🌿 Subject Line:

The Quiet Tug

💌 Welcome Letter

Dear Reader,

There is a strange beauty to late Spring—
when snow still clings to the edges,
but the light begins to linger.

It’s a season of tugging.
Winter holds on.
Spring whispers forward.

And we, too, find ourselves between things—
between holding and releasing,
between grief and growth,
between who we were… and who we are slowly becoming.

This is the space where forgiveness often blooms:
quietly, beneath the surface,
a thaw not always seen, but deeply felt.

📖 Featured Verse: “Forgive”
I forgave you
not because
you deserved it—
but because
I deserved
to be free.

To walk the thawing path
without dragging frost behind me.
To greet the crocus
without clenched fists.
To breathe in
without bracing.

🌼 Seasonal Reflection

I stepped outside last night and the snow had softened.
It hadn’t melted—
not quite—
but it yielded just enough
to let my boots sink gently in
free from the gritty crunch.

And I thought:
this is what healing feels like.
Not sudden. Not loud.
But a quiet surrender to change.

✍️ A Gentle Prompt

What are you learning to release gently?
Is it someone’s name?
A memory with teeth?
A version of yourself that no longer fits?

Write about what the thaw is teaching you.
No need to force a bloom.
Just notice what softens.

🌙 Until Next Time

Even as winter lingers,
there is a turning.
A subtle lean toward light.
Toward forgiveness.
Toward you.

With care,
